For unknown reasons, a Care Provider with decades of experience in Manteca, San Joaquin County, chose Rescue California locations, 100’s of miles away, to significantly expand their business. They obviously don’t know El Dorado County, nor the Rescue area, because the parcels where they are proposing to build their new facilities are not suited for these developments, and they put their future patients at greater risks, and significant inconveniences. Below are some of the numerous reasons why these Rescue parcels are not appropriate for Perinatal or Bridge Housing facilities.
Patients Transported 100s of Miles from Family and Support
Rescue location Highest Tier of fire risk and limited egress/exit in case of emergencies
Deer Valley Rd Location Slows Down Emergency Responses*
Rural Location has No Convenient Services Nearby
Developer and Provider Don’t Have Experience with Facilities of this Type and Scale (Perinatal, 15+ Patients)
