If you live in El Dorado County (EDC), your District Supervisor is your voice into the County activities.
EDC District Supervisors oversee all county operations for their district, so their attention and action on these planned facilities is urgently needed! If you only contact one person, please contact your District Supervisor.
If you live near the Deer Valley Road projects, you are in District 4. If you live near the Shingle Springs project, AND you are north of Highway 50, you live in District 4. Here is a district map if you want to see how they overlay EDC: 600-2 (edcgov.us).
Supervisor Lori Parlin leads District 4 and is point for driving any EDC Board actions. We need to ask for her help to ensure any development meets the vision and plan of EDC, and if it doesn’t, it is moved, or stopped.

If you live in EDC, but not in District 4, please let your EDC commissioner knows your opinion on these projects and ask them what they will do to ensure this doesn’t happen in any other part of EDC. Ask them to take action to ensure El Dorado County interests are being supported through this state program project implementation.
