You may have noticed that the signs we posted over a year ago have been removed. The developer of these proposed projects, HomeCA/6Beds.org, filed a formal complaint with the county. Since the signs didn’t meet code, we needed to remove them per the county’s request. We are prepared to put up new signs, when the time is right.
At this point we are awaiting county action on the pending permits. This community made it clear in our Feb Board of Supervisor meeting that the county has many reasons to deny these permits, but to-date the permits are still pending.
If you get an opportunity to talk to any of our Legislative or County elected officials or Planning Department members, please remind them that the community has made it clear that these developments are a significant safety and environmental hazard for these locations and should be categorically denied. Your voice matters so please make sure it is heard if/when the opportunity arises.
