Last week I received a copy of correspondence sent from Native Directions/HomeCA to Supervisor Parlin requesting a “letter of support” from the County. I believe this is a requirement of their Grant for at least 3335 Deer Valley Court. As I read through this correspondence, I had a visceral reaction to the claims made by the developer and care provider. I encourage you to read through it yourself and make up your own mind. To my knowledge El Dorado County has not yet required these facility developments to go through a rigorous Environmental Assessment prior to granting any permits. Our voices need to be heard to drive the county to act now to ensure the safety of the residents, so the full environmental aspects of BOTH of these two planned facilities is well understood prior to any further development. Please add your voice by emailing, or calling, Supervisor Parlin with your request to enforce a required Environmental Impact Report process prior to any county approval of permits.
