The fundraiser for Rescue Deer Valley, held by Concerned Citizens of Cameron Park, Rescue & Shingle Springs (CCOCP), was a fantastic success! Within a few weeks the team at CCOCP organized and delivered a Spaghetti Feed fundraiser at the Rescue Community Center, executing a fantastic dinner, a silent auction and some great speakers to help educate the attendees. We had a fully packed house, with more than 100 people coming out to support the Rescue Deer Valley efforts. Speeches were delivered by our El Dorado County Sheriff, Fire department and El Dorado County representatives and Rescue Deer Valley leadership. The event helped kick start funding of our legal efforts as we ramp up the next phases of our efforts.
